Tim Tebow has spent nearly the past three months playing for the Columbia Fireflies in Columbia, South Carolina. Still, that doesn’t mean he’s suddenly grown fond of the University of South Carolina.
After it was announced Sunday by the New York Mets that he had been promoted to their Advanced A affiliate, Tebow spoke to reporters about his time in the city but added that doesn’t mean he now likes the school or, more specifically, its athletic teams.

“Well, the goal is to when you’re somewhere hopefully you leave it a little better than you found it,” Tebow said.
