Three things we learned during Gators' 26-20 win over Tennessee:
1. Gators’ fans should to embrace the excitement of Saturday’s win, but not Jim McElwain’s offense.
But there just might be hope for Florida’s beleaguered attack.
Other than a pair of first-year freshman, receiver Kadarius Toney and tailback Malik Davis, the Gators’ attack once again looked hopeless after three quarters Saturday. Coordinator Doug Nussmeier’s days looked numbered.
A fourth-quarter flurry, culminating with a Hail Mary for the ages might signal better days ahead.
The Gators seem to have found a quarterback in redshirt freshman Feleipe Franks, who was given his second start and allowed to finish it this time.
