The Florida Gators had three players named to the Freshman All-SEC Team announced on Thursday.
Running back Malik Davis as well as defensive backs Marco Wilson and C.J. Henderson were all named to the team.
Davis took over the backup running back role early on in the season and rushed for 526 yards before a knee injury ended his season. His 79 carries and 526 yards were both second best on the team, while his 6.7 yards-per-carry were second among freshman in the league and sixth best among freshman in the nation. Davis earned SEC Freshman of the Week honors after a career high 124 yards and two touchdown against Vanderbilt.
