Tim Tebow already has two national championship rings and a Heisman Trophy from his time with the Florida Gators football team. A burgeoning minor-league baseball career has since followed.
He has another accolade to add to his career.
UF announced Wednesday that Tebow will be inducted into the football team's Ring of Honor. Tebow will be honored during Florida's game against LSU on Oct. 6, the same day that the Gators will celebrate the 10-year anniversary of their 2008 national championship-winning season.
Tebow, 30, is the sixth member of UF's Ring of Honor, joining former Gators greats Wilber Marshall, Emmitt Smith, Steve Spurrier, Danny Wuerffel and Jack Youngblood.
