The 2018 season will mark 10 years since the Florida Gators won their last national football championship. Ten years since Tim Tebow's promise following the Ole Miss loss that “you will never see a team play harder than we will the rest of the season." Ten years since the Gators descended on Dolphin Stadium — now known as Hard Rock Stadium — and defeated defeated the Oklahoma Sooners 24-14 for the BCS Championship.
That group, that most recent tie the Gators have to postseason lore, will be on hand and recognized this season.
