One of the Gators’ quarterbacks might have played in his last game of the season last Saturday.
According to a report by 247Sports, Kyle Trask, who replaced Feleipe Franks in the second half of Saturday’s game against Missouri, was carted off the field during Wednesday’s practice with a non-contact injury to his lower leg.
Officials have not responded to Miami Herald requests for confirmation.
The extent of Trask’s injury is unclear, but it could likely hold him out the rest of the year.
The redshirt sophomore found himself in the middle of a quarterback controversy after he entered Saturday’s game in place of the struggling Franks and finished 10 for 18 with 126 yards and a touchdown against the Tigers.
