Two-time national champion point guard Taurean Green has joined Todd Golden’s staff as the director of player development, UF announced on Monday.
Green was a member of the famous 2004 recruiting class that also included Joakim Noah, Al Horford and Corey Brewer and led the program to back-to-back national titles in 2006 and 2007.
“I couldn’t be more excited for Taurean to join our staff,” Golden said in a statement. “He’s one of the best to ever wear the Gator uniform and understands what it takes to achieve at the highest levels here. He’ll be an incredible resource for our student-athletes and an important connection to the tradition of excellence here, both for our fans and for all the past Gators who will always be part of the Florida family.
