The Florida Gators' recruiting push in Tampa Bay has resulted in another commitment.
St. Petersburg High receiver Jalynn Williams has orally committed to UF. He becomes the Gators' first commitment for the class of 2018.
Williams is a three-star recruit and the state's No. 80 prospect in that class. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound athlete also had offers from Miami and Ohio State, among others. He had 53 catches for 399 yards and six touchdowns during his junior season.
Oral commitments are non-binding until recruits sign letters of intent during their senior years.
