Florida baseball continued their success in the transfer portal, landing a commitment from SoCon Pitcher of the Year Michael Ross, according to D1Baseball’s Kendal Rodgers.
Ross is the 5th transfer to join the Gators and the first pitcher.
The Samford RHP posted a 13-0 record in 15 starts, holding a 3.27 earned run average in 96.1 innings pitched, the 65th lowest ERA in college baseball. Ross struck out 86 batters and walked just 21, ranking 60th in the country with a 4.19 strikeout-to-walk ratio. His 1.96 walks per nine ranks 40th in D1 baseball.
