Last Saturday, the Florida Gators hosted several prospects including a newly offered defensive back on campus when the Gators defeated Vanderbilt for homecoming.
Defensive back Gregory Smith III (6-3, 191, Riverview, FL. Sumner High) was on campus and enjoyed being back in the Swamp.
“This is my first visit here this season, but I’ve been here before,” Smith said of his visit to Florida on Saturday. “I enjoyed it, I liked the atmosphere here and I liked the way they played. I would love to be back.”
Smith is an athlete who plays both ways in high school and on Saturday he watched a particular group because the Gators want him on the defensive side of the ball.
