TALLAHASSEE -- Florida State quarterback Sean Maguire said the last three days have been "real, real tough" after breaking a bone in his right foot, but he will try to return to action as soon as possible.
"I'm going to try to get back as fast as possible, that's for sure," Maguire said during Sunday's media day.
Maguire sustained the injury to the outside of his foot during the opening week of practice. He is expected to undergo surgery this week and miss about a month.
Maguire said he's glad the training staff caught the injury, otherwise it would worsen.
