Days after joining the University of Florida program, Jake Fruhmorgen reportedly is set to end his Gators career.
Scout.com and 247Sports.com report that Fruhmorgen, a former starter at Clemson who officially transferred this week at UF, is leaving the program. Scout.com reported that Fruhmorgen is giving up football.
No reason was announced, though Fruhmorgen — who would’ve sat out this season and had two seasons of eligibility remaining — was injured in each of the past two seasons at Clemson.
Fruhmorgen, who starred at Tampa Plant, started once as a true freshman for the Tigers in 2015, then eight games last season before being injured.
