The latest off-field incident for Florida star wide receiver Antonio Callaway appears to be resolved — at least on the legal side.
Various media reports say Callaway pleaded no contest to charges of possession of drug paraphernalia in connection with his May 13 citation.
Callaway, a junior who is Florida’s top receiver, faces a fine of $301, plus court costs.
It’s not immediately certain whether this incident will lead to further disciplinary actions; Florida opens the season September 2 against Michigan. Callaway has had multiple off-field incidents during his time in Gainesville.
