The New York Mets are said to be considering the possibility of promoting Tim Tebow in their minor league system.
The New York Post reports that if a promotion does occur, it likely would not happen until after the All-Star Game in July.
Tebow is an outfielder with the Columbia Fireflies of the Class A South Atlantic League. The Mets also have a Class A team in the Florida State League, which is considered much stronger than the South Atlantic League. Presumably, then, a potential landing spot would be the St. Lucie Mets of the Class A Florida State League.
