Gators football coaches didn’t have to wait long to consider their Friday Night Lights camp a success.
Before the high school players could even take the field Friday night, 2016 Meridian (Miss.) cornerback Quincy Lenton (Watch Lenton’s highlight tape here) and 2017 Tampa Bay Tech wide receiver Daquon Green (Watch Green’s highlight tape here) verbally committed to the Gators during their visits to Gainesville.
Following that news, 2016 Mount Dora offensive lineman Brett Heggie (Watch Heggie’s highlights here) verbally committed to the Gators just hours later.
