Transfer running back Cam Carroll suffered a season-ending xx injury during Florida’s second scrimmage of fall camp on Friday afternoon, Napier announced during Saturday’s press conference.
“Cam Carroll had a season-ending knee injury,” Napier said. “Cam will respond, he will get the full support of our team and organization, he’ll be back,” Napier added.
Carroll was looking to make it back on to the field after suffering a season-ending leg injury in Tulane’s first game of the 2022 season.
“It was tough being an athlete, wanting to play in a game, wanting to play that season, especially, it was kind of hard but I didn’t take it too personally because I knew that although I was not going to be able to play that season, I could still be there for my teammates, I could still motivate them, be there for them, and support them, even in my time of need,” Carroll said.
