Two days after Florida’s addition of a top in-state athlete, an Orlando athlete backed off his pledge from the Gators.
Tyrek Tisdale reopened his recruitment Monday, announcing the move on Twitter. He and UF had been expected to part ways.
The three-star athlete, who officially visited Oregon State on Sept. 25, committed to Florida as a safety in March.
The Gators landed Pahokee athlete McArthur Burnett following Saturday’s game. The Scout300 member will play in Florida’s secondary.
UF now has 20 members in its 2016 class, including defensive backs Burnett, Chauncey Gardner, Quincy Lenton, C.
