One assistant hired, but another spot to fill for Jim McElwain

Florida coach Jim McElwain has one more spot to fill on his staff after the school announced Friday that JaJuan Seider is the newest assistant.

Seider, a native of Belle Glade, Fla., spent the past four seasons at West Virginia as the running backs coach. He is expected to have the same job at Florida, although the release didn’t specify Seider’s duties.

McElwain will complete his staff when he hires an offensive line coach to replace Mike Summers, who left for Louisville last month.

Philadelphia offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland was rumored to be the front runner, but an NFL source believes Stoutland, 54, is staying with the Eagles.
