Florida defensive tackle Caleb Brantley and running back Adam Lane were cited for leaving Splitz Bowling Alley without paying their tabs.
According to an Alachua County Sheriff’s Office warrant affidavit, Lane and Brantley arrived at Splitz on July 4 around 8:55 p.m. and left around 9:45 p.m. without paying their tabs for food.
Both players were charged with defrauding an innkeeper of under $300, a second-degree misdemeanor.
According to UF football spokesman Steve McClain, the program has been “aware of the situation for some time” and “it has been dealt with.
