KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Before every game, veteran college football beat writer Robbie Andreu comes up with five pertinent questions and then answers them after the game. Here's Week 4:
1. How efficient will QB Austin Appleby be in his first start for the Gators?
He was incredibly efficient in the first half, hitting several explosive plays in the passing game and throwing for 213 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Gators to a 21-3 halftime lead. But the second half was a nightmare of inefficiency for the Purdue graduate transfer. He was hurried, sacked, threw a dumb interception in the fourth quarter and was rendered almost ineffective by the attacking UT defense.
