Like many Week 1 performances by the Gators, Saturday night’s 35-14 win against FAU was never in doubt as UF extended the nation’s longest active winning streak in home openers to 32 games.
UF put together touchdown drives of 11 and 10 plays to open the game and stake a 14-0 first-quarter lead by relying heavily on its rushing attack against the overmatched Owls, a 23.
