The Florida Gators had one of their biggest junior days on Saturday and they received a commitment from an instate prospect during the visit.
Tight end Nick Elksnis (6-6, 220, Jacksonville, FL. Episcopal) committed to the Florida Gators just a week after decommitting from Penn State.
“After much thoughts and prayer, I am overjoyed to announce my commitment to the University of Florida. I was raised a Gator by my grandmother and now it’s time to play as one,” Elksnis said.
Elksnis visited the Gators for the first junior day and it was during that time that the Gators sold the tight end how he would be used in Gainesville.
