The second serious target of National Signing Day 2018 for the Florida Gators, defensive end/linebacker Caleb Tannor, made his decision public nearly an hour after it was originally scheduled to be announced.
That didn’t help the Florida Gators, as Tannor picked Nebraska over the Gators.
Tannor, a four-star player who had been considering the Gators in addition to Auburn and Nebraska, was seen as a Huskers lean going into National Signing Day, and is a nice get for new Nebraska coach Scott Frost.
The 6’4” 225 pound four-star defensive end was just one of several defensive linemen considering Florida set to announce on Wednesday — and there’s more than a minimal chance that the Gators will end up landing others instead of Tannor as the day progresses.
