The Florida Gators hosted visitors on campus last Saturday for the Samford game as the Gators finally had a home game after a month of being on the road.
Defensive tackle Ahmad Moten (6-3, 290, Fort Lauderdale, FL. Cardinal Gibbons) was on campus and he picked up an offer from the Gators after he talked to head coach Dan Mullen.
“Coach Mullen was the one,” Moten said on the coach who offered him. “He said that he liked the way I played, my film, my character and liked my size. Just all of that.”
Moten had a feeling an offer was coming from Florida on Saturday, but the defensive tackle was still surprised by the news.
