GAINESVILLE — Bridget Sloan has already created her legacy.
Jenny Rowland is just beginning to build hers.
Sloan, a UF senior gymnast and former Olympic silver medalist, has been a mainstay during Florida's first three national title runs. She has the accolades, the experience and the swagger sought by many yet only achieved by few.
Rowland, the first-year head coach, came to UF in May with expectations to maintain. She's been tasked with picking up where former coach Rhonda Faehn left off before resigning and taking a job with USA Gymnastics just days after winning Florida's third consecutive national title.
