The Florida Gators coaching staff is out on the road recruiting, but they received good news from the transfer portal on Tuesday when they picked up a commitment from one of their top transfer targets.
Michigan safety transfer RJ Moten committed to Florida on Tuesday after spending the last three days in Gainesville on an official visit.
Moten started 10 games last year and played in all 14 of Michigan’s games as he helped lead the Wolverines to the College Football playoffs by recording 31 tackles, 2.5 tackles for a loss, and one interception.
The Michigan safety in total has started 15 games while playing in 29 games during Moten’s three years in Ann Harbor where he was also a two-team Academic All-Big Ten honoree.
