Miami Hurricanes announce new assistants, including co-offensive coordinator

New Miami coach Mark Richt's staff is starting to take shape.

The Hurricanes announced the hiring of four assistant coaches Wednesday, including co-offensive coordinator Thomas Brown.

Brown spent last season as Richt's running backs coach at Georgia and coached the position at Wisconsin before that. He will continue to coach running backs at UM.

Craig Kuligowski will be UM's defensive line coach after leading that position for 15 years at Missouri, making him the longest-tenured position coach in the SEC. Two dozen of his former players were all-conference selections.

Todd Hartley will be the special teams coordinator after spending last fall as Georgia's director of player personnel.
