Last Thursday afternoon the Florida Gators had the opportunity to host a prospect that is committed to an instate rival on an unofficial visit.
2017 Miami Hurricanes tight end commit Tre McKitty (6-4, 225, Bradenton, FL IMG Academy) visited Gainesville to talk to several of Florida’s coaches including tight ends coach Greg Nord.
“It was pretty good, I talked to Coach Nord a little bit,” McKitty said of his Florida visit. “We talked about how I would be used in their offense and then I hung out with Coach [Chris] Rumph and Coach [Marquell] Blackwell. After that we went around on a tour of campus and then just chilled in their office.
