Florida Gators head coach Jim McElwain announced on Thursday that he’ll be bringing in longtime college and NFL assistant coach Bret Ingalls as a quality control staff assistant on offense.
At a glance, Ingalls’ background at both collegiate and professional levels is relatively extensive. He has spent his last seven years in the Big Easy as an assistant coach for the New Orleans Saints. He’s a former running back for the Wichita State Shockers back in his playing days (1979-1981). Then, he began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Idaho shortly thereafter in 1982.
