At 308 pounds and barely six feet tall, center T.J. McCoy is Florida’s smallest offensive lineman, but he’s brought a big spark to an offensive line that was badly in need of one.
Since McCoy entered the starting lineup after UF’s first offensive play against South Carolina two weeks ago, the line seems to be playing with more passion and confidence -- and starting to knock people off the ball, as we saw in the second half against LSU.
“I’ve got to tell you, T.J. has been a breath of fresh air,” UF coach Jim McElwain said.
