For the second year in a row, Florida has flipped a recruit who had been committed to Houston. Last year, it was wide receiver Tyrie Cleveland; this year, it is safety Donovan Stiner.
“I loved it on the visit and I got to know everyone,” Stiner told GN about his official visit this past weekend to Gainesville. “It was a good home feeling, plus the legacy of the DBs really stood out to me.”
Stiner (6 feet 2, 185 pounds) is a three-star prospect from Bellaire (Texas) High, in the Houston suburbs. He is among the top 55 safety prospects in the country.
