The accolades continue to roll in for Florida Gators quarterback Kyle Trask this offseason. Friday Trask was named to the Maxwell Award watch list.
The Maxwell Award is presented annually to the best college football player in the country and has been awarded every year since 1937. Danny Wuerffel and Tim Tebow are the two Gators that have won the award.
Trask’s story is well known by now. The quarterback that hadn’t started a game since his freshman year of high school takes over for an injured Feleipe Franks and helps lead the Gators to an 11-2 record and an Orange Bowl victory.
