The Florida Gators coaching staff hosted several prospects from different states on Saturday for spring practice and unofficial visits.
Offensive lineman Kelton Smith (6-5, 300, Columbus, GA. Carver) was on campus and picked up an offer from the Gators after practice.
“Coach [Billy] Napier offered me,” Smith said. “He said I was very athletic and a great player and forwarded me an offer. The offer means a lot to me, and I was very excited happy about it.”
Smith was able to watch the Gators practice and he focused on the offensive line and liked the tempo of the practice.
