True freshman Kadarius Toney has made quite an impact in a short time as a Florida Gator.
Toney, who was a three-star prospect from Eight Mile, Alabama, near Mobile, has accounted for almost 200 yards from scrimmage in Florida’s first three games. He scored a 36-yard rushing touchdown and completed a 50-yard pass Saturday night in the Gators’ 28-27 win over Kentucky.
“I’m very proud of him,” Lev Holly, who coached Toney at Blount High School, told GN. “I think he understands the process and understands the commitment level that it takes in the SEC.
“I’m not surprised because of his skill set and I’m not surprised that he is having the success that he is having.
