The Florida Gators picked up their fifth commitment for the Class of 2024 on Monday afternoon when an out-of-state prospect committed to the Gators.
Safety Josiah Davis (6-1, 185, Nashville, GA. Berrien) committed to Florida over Kentucky, Louisville, North Carolina State, and Tennessee on Monday afternoon at his school.
Davis has visited Gainesville twice this spring after picking up an offer from the Gators and during both visits he liked the way Florida practiced.
“It was great, they had a lot of energy coming into the first practice,” Davis said of Florida’s practices. “It was great to watch Coach [Corey] Raymond and Coach [Jay] Bateman, they did a great job of teaching the guys what to do.
