Jordan Sherit feels healthy, ready to contribute to Florida Gators

Jordan Sherit doesn't care where the Gators end up using him this fall. After three injury-plagued seasons, the Hillsborough High alumnus just wants to contribute.

"For me personally, it's been more of a challenge being and remaining healthy," said Sherit, a redshirt sophomore. "In my opinion, if I can do that, I can be very successful individually."

The 6-foot-4, 250-pound Sherit tore his ACL during his senior year of high school. He redshirted at Florida in 2013 and had three tackles last fall before he was sidelined again due to injuries.

Sherit said he and the medical staff found some mechanical problems stemming from his ACL surgery, which delayed his recovery.
