Despite the dead period for visit, the Florida Gators coaching staff has made the most of the down time by offering several prospects around the country.
The latest prospect to pick up an offer was receiver Malcolm Johnson Jr. (6-1, 185, Alexandria, VA. St. Stephen & St. Agnes High) who heard from one of the Gators assistants.
“Coach [Billy] Gonzales] offered me,” Johnson said of the coach from Florida who offered him. “He said to me how Florida can use my speed in the slot and on the outside and allow me to run track too.”
Johnson has several big offers already but he says the Gators history in two sports made this a special offer.
