HOOVER, Ala. - Florida receiver Antonio Callaway and athlete Treon Harris are both in class, but their long-term status remains unclear, coach Jim McElwain said Monday.
McElwain made his comments with a group of local reporters before his formal news conference at SEC media days.
Both players are listed on the Gators' media guide roster, but McElwain didn't have a timetable on when their status will be resolved. Both were initially suspended in January. UF hasn't specified the reasons, but Callaway's attorney has said that the star receiver is the subject of a university code of conduct investigation.
