The latest ESPN broadcast shakeup shifts former Florida quarterback Jesse Palmer into a full-time studio role. The person he’s replacing? Former Florida State quarterback Danny Kanell, one of the numerous employees let go in wide-ranging ESPN layoffs over the spring.
Palmer will work alongside anchor Adnan Virk and former Ohio State receiver Joey Galloway in ESPN’s studio on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. He previously had become a familiar face to fans for his appearances on “SEC Saturday Night” on the SEC Network, where he had served as an analyst for play-by-play man Brent Musburger.
