Jeremy Foley: Improving Gators football facilities ‘highest thing on our agenda’

DESTIN — Florida is still developing its master plan for facilities, but athletics director Jeremy Foley said it is “a high agenda item” six months into the process.

The question is what will be the next big thing for the football program, which opened a $17 million indoor practice facility in August. A separate football facility has certainly been suggested, but coach Jim McElwain and Foley have not discussed particulars publicly.

“I’m trying to figure that out,” Foley said at the SEC’s spring meetings Wednesday. “Trying to figure out again exactly what coach Mac needs.
