The Florida Gators picked up a big commitment from an out of state prospect on Monday afternoon.
Defensive back Jahari Rogers (6-0, 170, Arlington, TX. High) committed to the Florida Gators over Texas when he announced his decision on Monday.
“I, Jahari Rogers am officially committing to the University of Florida,” Rogers said.
Rogers who mainly plays quarterback in high school has talked to defensive backs coach Torrian Gray about why the Gators like him on defense.
“I talk to Coach Gray all the time and he says he likes my size, speed and athleticism,” Rogers said of the message from Torrian Gray.
