With the 79th overall pick in the third round, the New York Jets selected Jabari Zuniga.
Zuniga made the decision to come back to Florida for his senior year but was sidelined for most of the season with an ankle sprain.
When healthy his athleticism is what separated him and stood out. He proved that at the combine with the second-best 40-time among defensive linemen. He put up 29 reps on the bench.
He joins fellow Gators Jonotthan Harrison, Marcus Maye, and Brian Poole on the Jets.
2019: Appeared in six contests (5 starts), tallying 14 defensive stops (7 solo), 7.
