This is no surprise: Malik Zaire has officially transferred to Florida. The ex-Notre Dame QB shared his excitement on Instagram.
“Official! I couldn’t be happier to be a part of something special!! Time to get to work!!! #Gators,” Zaire posted.
Zaire is a graduate transfer and will be able to play immediately. The “Summer B” term of classes at University of Florida began on Monday; Zaire will also now be able to take part in off-season workouts.
The newest Gators’ QB is expected to compete for the starting position with redshirt junior Luke Del Rio, true freshman Kadarius Toney and redshirt freshmen Feleipe Franks and Kyle Trask.
