Florida congressman Ander Crenshaw of Jacksonville has announced that he will be retiring at the end of the year and some reports claim Heisman-winning quarterback Tim Tebow could run for his seat.
The Washington Examiner reports a possible campaign team is being put together for Tebow and could “hit the ground running, immediately” for the August 30 primary.
This means Tebow would likely have to make a decision quickly, in case he decides to run. The SEC Network analyst discussed the possibility of a future political career when interviewed by Ainsley Earhardt of Fox News at his foundation’s annual golf tournament.
