He beat LSU in baseball, now ex-Florida pitcher Alex Faedo is ‘Mr. Two Bits’

Alex Faedo has won the College World Series for Florida, and now the Gators hope he can bring football success as well – from the sideline.

The Gators’ former star pitcher will be serving as the celebrity “Mr. Two Bits” this weekend against LSU, the athletic department announced Tuesday.

Faedo helped the Gators to the College World Series championship in baseball this June, where the team beat LSU 2-0 int he best-of-three finals.
