The Florida Gators picked up a big commitment on Monday after offensive lineman William Harrod (6-5, 312, Fort Washington, MD. National Christian Academy) committed to Florida after taking an official visit to Gainesville.
Harrod who took his first to Florida this weekend noted that his relationship with offensive line coach John Hevesy was a big reason he decided to visit Gainesville.
Heading into the visit North Carolina and Tennessee had the edge for Harrod but the need at tackle is something that the offensive line liked about the Gators.
Harrod now joins offensive linemen Wardrick Wilson, Ethan White and Riley Simonds as members of the line in the class of 2019.
