LAKE BUENA VISTA -- Senior point guard Kasey Hill scored a season-high 16 points and redshirt freshman forward Keith Stone added a career-high 15 points and eight rebounds, lifting Florida to a 65-56 win over Miami to take third place in the AdvoCare Invitational.
The Gators (6-1) got a big lift from Stone, who scored nine points in the first half Sunday to help Florida take a 34-30 halftime lead.
Miami (4-2) scored the first nine points of the second half to take a 39-34 lead, but Florida regained the lead by tightening up on the defensive end.
