The No.7 Florida Gators swept Harvard this weekend, outscoring the Crimson 41-6 in 21 innings of play. After a 12-0 run rule in Friday’s game one, Florida defeated Harvard 7-0 and 22-6 in Saturday’s double header. Games two and three were shortened to seven inning contests.
It was clear from the first few innings on Friday night that Harvard was outmatched. Entering the weekend at 0-6, the Crimson had been run-ruled more often than not, losing four of their six games by double digit run totals. After losing all three to Florida, Harvard now holds an 0-9 record with six double digits losses.
