In college football, there are games that go according to plan and then there are games that detour from that plan so dramatically you will remember them for a long time. Florida and Vanderbilt in Nashville on Saturday qualifies as the latter.
The Gators fell behind Vanderbilt 21-3 before scoring 24 unanswered on their way to a 37-27 win and a 6-1 mark on the year.
This was a game where things were clearly not going Florida’s way early.
Florida committed silly penalties, turned the ball over on offense three times, and even suffered two players, James Houston and Vosean Joseph, being ejected late in the first half.
