ATHENS, Ga. -- Florida passed a significant road test Tuesday night at Georgia.
Playing its third game in six days, the No. 17 Gators were unable to hold a 16-point lead in the first half, but pulled away for a 72-60 win over Georgia at Stegeman Coliseum for their fifth consecutive win.
Junior point guard Chris Chiozza led four UF scorers in double figures with 15 points. Senior point guard Kasey Hill added 12 points and five assists for the Gators (19-5, 9-2 SEC). Canyon Barry scored 11 points off the bench and Justin Leon had 10 points.
